Ho-Hum

Had another doctor appt. today.  She is apparently going to be stubborn (like her brother)!  The doctor says that if she doesn’t arrive on her own by Thanksgiving, they will induce me the following day.  I am starting to get depressed because I thought for sure she would be here by now!

Yep-Still Waiting

November 12, 2008 at 8:38 pm (Uncategorized)

I am still waiting for my little girl to come.  I went to the doctor today- I am .5cm dialated.  The doctor believes I will be back for my checkup next week, but gave me the okay to “surprise him”!  I woke up at 1am this morning with a horrible horrible contraction- I couldn’t move!  Had a weaker contraction a few minutes later, but then they stopped.  I will write again when there is any new news.

Still Waiting

November 4, 2008 at 7:03 pm (Uncategorized)

baby-pic11I am still anxiously awaiting the arrival of my daughter….Brian and I went on the hospital tour last night.  It’s nice to know that this time around I will have my own private room (I had to share a recovery room after my son was born).  I am now in my second week of maternity leave.  I have not been bored yet-I always seem to find something to keep me busy.  Last week was filled with appointments and lunches with friends.  This week is still fresh, but I’ve kept busy with voting, cleaning, working on Gavin’s book report project and adding the finishing touches to Alexandra’s room.  I am a bit new at this website and hope to keep it updated often for all my friends and family.  I have another doctor appt. tomorrow- I hope to be dialated!

Two Months To Alex- One Month to Work

September 24, 2008 at 10:54 pm (Baby Update/Sandei Update)

So I am beginning to countdown the days now.  I thought since it is 2008, maybe I should start my own website.  This was free- so here I am.  I just found a new doctor that will allow me to attempt a VBAC.  My new doctor is associated with Saddleback Memorial, so that is where Alexandra will be born.  My last day at work will be October 24 (one month from today).

As you might know (or not), we lost our precious Sandei dog on September 13, 2008.  She was loved much and had a wonderful life.  We are now in the process of adopting a dog through a lab rescue group.  We’ve expressed interest in two and are waiting to hear…..one is a yellow female named Misha (3 years) and the other is a chocolate male named Nova (2-3 years).  Brian believes we have been called to save Nova (he was abused and is way under weight).  I am anxiously waiting for this other new member to join our family as well.   ChiChi is still with us (and hopefully will be for a few more years).  She does have a heart murmur and high liver enzymes, so we are trying to keep on top of her health.
